Pip Darvall - Managing Director

MSc Geology, MBA

Mr Darvall most recently served as Managing Director of ASX-listed explorer Jindalee Resources Limited  where his accomplishments include identifying and acquiring a significant new lithium project in the United States. He was previously Senior Geologist, then Exploration Manager, for Atlas Iron Limited, where he oversaw the rapid growth in Atlas’ resource base between 2010 and 2014, before starting his own consultancy company specializing in resource project evaluation and management.

Joshua Tuhumwire

Joshua Tuhumwire - Chairman Sipa Exploration Uganda Limited

Mr Joshua Tuhumwire is a Ugandan geologist who held various positions with the Ugandan Department of Geological Survey and Mines (DGSM) from 1980 to 2010. He was Commissioner of the DGSM from 2001 to 2010 and was responsible for initiating and implementing the US$47.7 million Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project, which included the flying of an airborne magnetic/radiometric survey of the country along with regional geological mapping.

Mr Tuhumwire is the Founder and Director/CEO of Gondwana Geoscience Consulting Ltd, based in Entebbe, Uganda.

Peter Neumayr

Peter Neumayr - Senior Geologist

PhD Geology, The University of Western Australia

Peter has fifteen years of research experience in gold mineralization in Australia, Canada and Africa, including 7 years with the predictive mineral discovery Cooperative Research Centre and Centre for Exploration Targeting on geochemical and alteration vectors to gold mineralization.

Peter joined Sipa in 2008 and has explored for gold and base metal mineralization in Australia and Africa. Peter holds a Master of Science degree of the University of Salzburg in Austria and a PhD degree of the University of Western Australia, Australia.

Burkhard Eisenlohr

Burkhard N Eisenlohr – Exploration Manager

PhD Geology, University of Western Australia (FAusIMM, MSEG, GSA)

Burkhard has worked in mineral exploration and the mining industry for more than 30 years, mostly in Australia, Africa and southeast Asia. He has extensive experience in gold and base metal exploration and is familiar with a range of geological terrains in west and southern Africa. Burkhard has managed exploration programs both at early exploration and feasibility study stage, including the initial drill-out and feasibility study of the Tasiast gold deposit. He held senior positions with junior and mid-tier companies including Defiance Mining, Nova Energy, Cape Lambert Resources and OceanaGold. Burkhard obtained his PhD from the University of Western Australia with research in economic and structural geology.
